Online Lessons: The Virtual Classroom
studentonline

There are not many teachers in the UK that are as versatile in making the best possible use of a virtual classroom as are the ConnectEd staff. Since its very earliest days ConnectEd has understood the vital role that live, face to face teacher led lessons are for those students being educated outside of the school environment. These lessons breakdown many of the barriers that students have faced with their previous education, re-engaging the students in their learning and giving them a fulfilling and enjoyable time.

Virtual lesson are NOT static, teacher droning lectures. They are highly interactive, with students sharing ideas, working together in breakout groups and taking an active role. You really need to see them to believe them!

We keep our groups small so that our students can achieve the best possible results!

What's On Offer

ConnectEd's Virtual Classroom allows teachers and students to share a whole range of applications from whiteboards and videos to audio and application shares.

Students enjoy taking part in these lesson, joining together with fellow students from all over Cambridgeshire. While the majority of ConnectEd students access the virtual classroom from their homes, there is no limiting factor as to where students can access ConnectEd. The Virtual Classroom can be accessed from libraries and from schools within Cambridgeshire.

'I enjoy the live lessons. It's like meeting up with your friends, you can have a chat and share ideas. Having the teacher there when you need them is great. l you can ask questions and get the help when you need it.'
