ConnectEd has recently been awarded an EXEMPLARY grade for a unit of work on The tudors that was recently submitted to Curriki.

The unit consisted of seven Lodestar presentations that looked at various aspects of the life and times of The Tudors. The presentations covered such aspects of Tudor life as Crime and Punishment, Famous Tudor Landmarks and The six Wives of Henry VIII.

In awarded ConnectEd with an Exemplary grade, which is the highest possible level, the Curriki Reviewer stated that:

This is an excellent collection of resources on Tudor England. Topics included in the collection are Crime and Punishment, the Reformation, A Tour of Tudor England, and the Six Wives of Henry VIII. Each topic has a link to a Lodestar site that has slides and maps relevant to the topic. The information provided is accurate, accessible, and engaging. The units can be used to supplement teacher lectures or for direct student use. For example, the materials on Crime and Punishment in Tudor England include interesting background information on the topic with relevant images and then there is an online quiz about the information. Overall, a very useful resource for teaching about the time period.
